Wellingborough Carnival is proud to announce that they are the proud owners of a brand new bespoke carnival float that has been designed exclusively for them by
Towability in Wellingborough.
Through monies from Empowering Councillors & Communities Scheme - Northamptonshire County Council and The Borough Council of Wellingborough, Wellingborough Carnival have been able to purchase a new float which will be used to carry the Carnival Courts around Wellingborough's own Carnival on 4th July and to other Carnivals around the area.
Purchase of a new float was a necessaity due to there float which was given to them being unfit for use on the road.
The float will be dressed on Carnival Day by Billing Garden Village
Billing Garden Village is more than just a Garden Centre. They have in total 15 shops over two floors. We can offer everything you could need, for your home and garden. Whether its footwear for those sunny walks, pillows for your bed, clothes for your kids. We have a quality butcher for your Sunday roast and a farm shop for your vegetables. We even have a ceramic painting studio. So why not go along for a visit you will be made very welcome and parking is free.
We are also very grateful to Terina at Billing Garden Village for decorating the new float for the Northampton, Nuneaton and Irthingborough Carnivals that the 2008 have attended in June.

Our Carnival Queen Chanelle Sadie Paul has won the prestigious title of UK Carnival Queen at Disneyland Resort Paris - well done to Chanelle for beating off stiff opposition from 15 other lovely UK Carnival Queens

In 2008 Janice and Anthony Compton got married on Carnival Day and started married life by being driven in a beautiful limousine supplied by Apex Limousines from Swanspool House Registrar's Office to Croyland Park, where they were presented with a bottle of champagne by the Mayor of Wellingborough, Councillor Eileen Higgins.
