Can you help?

We are looking for memorabilia and photographs to put in the Museum archive for future exhibitions if you have anything please take it to the Wellingborough Museum and ask for Ian, Robert or Melody.  They will copy it and let you have your original photograph back or make a record of what memorabilia you are loaning them for the exhibition.

Celebrating a 102 years of Carnival

Dispite the doom and gloom of the economy in 2009 Wellingborough Carnival continued to make it's mark on the carnival circuit supporting other carnivals thoughout the year with their new bespoke carnival float.    Two Carnival Clubs were formed in Wellingborough with the help of the Carnival Association, Wellingborough Afro Caribbean Association and Sir Christopher Hatton School.

Please support your Carnival

The History of Party in the Park

In September 2000 the Borough Council held its very first Party in the Park. It started off as a very low key event at Bassett's Close Park. In 2002 to mark the Queen's Golden Jubilee the Wellingborough Carnival and the Borough Council of Wellingborough merged their two events but still kept their separate identity.

From 2007 the Carnival and Wellingborough Council have joined forces and are working together to organise Wellingborough's largest free event.

2010 will be the 10th anniversary of this event
