| Health and SafetyWellingborough Carnival is trying to ensure that their event is as safe as they can make it. Please help them by being responsible and keeping yourself and those in your party safe and happy. Attendance at the event is entirely at your own risk.
Please follow the carnival code so that everyone has a fun day in a friendly and trouble free atmosphere, Wellingborough Carnival is asking people to behave in a tolerant way, showing respect to those around them. Please be aware of the following:
Disrespectful behaviour of any kind, including drunkenness and abuse will not be tolerated. CCTV cameras will be operating across the town assisting the police to deal swiftly with any incidents.
The town centre is an alcohol free zone and the sale of alcohol on the streets is illegal. Wellingborough’s Pub Watch Scheme is in operation over the weekend.
The main police station is on Midland Road.
There will be large crowds, so please look after small children and make arrangements for a meeting point if you become separated from friends or family. Easily identifiable stewards will be on hand to help;
Don't drop litter. It can cause a hazard and creates an unpleasant environment. Please use the bins provided.
Please park responsibly around Croyland park. Weather permitting free parking is available at Croyland Park - entrance via Henshaw Road.
